Anthony Kim is back in news for his wrist injury, just ahead of the Texas Open.

Golf lovers were desperately waiting for this tournament because of the fact that this was Kim’s comeback tournament, but Kim followers will be disappointed with the news of his withdrawal from the tournament after 14 holes because of a wrist injury.

The wrist injury has occurred all of a sudden and is causing numbness in his arm. This is the same injury that forced him out of the first round at the Shell Houston Open this year. Anthony will seek an MRI for the injury according to the newspapers.

This was the second consecutive tournament after the great Shell Houston Open that created stir among the golf lovers because of Kim’s sudden withdrawal. According to some golf analysts, Kim Anthony is losing his interest in golf and that is the reason for his sudden decline.

Kim is presently confronting the worst form, as he has missed the cut six times in the eight events that he has played so far in the 2012 PGA Tour season. His current form have pushed the open odds of Kim winning back into triple figures.

Kim is trying hard to recover from this worst phase of his career. Some golf analysts suggested that Kim should take a few weeks off in order to get back in his earlier form, which might help him play better in the upcoming tournaments.

Along with Kim, Erik Compton also withdrew from the tournament just after nine holes. He was suffering from some sort of illness, but told to a private news channel that he is fine. We’re hoping to see these two gems play their next tournament very soon.
