THE LODGE AT CLOUDCROFT
Cloudcroft, New Mexico

The Lodge Golf Course was built in 1899, making it one of the oldest golf courses in the western United States. At 9,000 feet above sea level, The Lodge Golf Course is also one of the highest courses in North America. Bordered by 150 foot Ponderosa Pines, The Lodge Golf Course has spectacular scenery. The golf course was designed with it’s Scottish roots in mind. Governed by the Scottish traditions of playing different tees and separate flags on each hole, this exquisite nine-hole course, when played twice becomes a challenging 18-hole round.

At 9,000 feet, The Lodge at Cloudcroft is nestled in the clouds. The historic resort, appointed with Victorian décor is a four season, three diamond resort. Originally built in 1899 by the Alamogordo and Sacramento Mountain Railway, The Lodge was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1911 at it’s present location which features 47 rooms, 10 rooms at the Pavillion Bed and Breakfast and four private luxury suites. Two gift shops, Rebeccas fine dining restaurant, conference space, banquet facilities, and The Lodge Spa make for a full service resort.
